I convinced this girl that I'm only around for the weekend, so she'll text/MMS me almost 1500 times during the week (I respond to maybe 10-15 of her texts, so I guess she's putting in more investment into me than I am to her).
Over the week, she'll text me mundane stuff, like "Just had breakfast, food pictures to follow. Have a good day" or "thinking of you, have a good night" before she goes to bed and other such messages.
Her birthday was Thursday, so I decided to treat her to dinner and drinks. And we spent 3 hours at a noisy spot. She's now going home, partially jetlagged (as she just got back from vacation in Asia). She said she would text me as soon as she gets home.
On one hand, by limiting us to one in-person gathering per week and not responding to a majority of her texts, I think I'm letting her do most of the "maintenance". On the other hand, her insistence on texting me so often makes it appear in the other direction. So what's this look like to you lot, as I'm not sure what's going on here?
