Hello hello. I'm a long time RPer who recycles logins, hello from a new mask.

As I've ramped up on RP it seems like more and more intense and unpredictable shit is raining onto my life; things I was never concerned about pre-RP. Only recently I've become somewhat interested in the idea of things beyond the physical existing, though I am a lifelong materialist so anything I consider there is through first hand unexplainable or "too much of a coincidence" type situations I've experienced--no dogma. I'm not going to lay it all out since it's too situational/subjective to make sense to anyone but myself in a general way, obviously I can drill in if prompted.

The overall theme though, is I wonder if RPing is actually bringing some of the negative effects of RP into my life. Even without magic explanations, if we're thinking a lot about something it will reflect/manifest in our word choices and reactions. I have recently narrated situations weeks into the future with perfect accuracy and I wonder how much of that I am causing, be it by magic or simple confirmation bias-like effects. Anyone else noticed similar, found a way to RP and compartmentalize things like fear of certain situations that we read about here but aren't actually too common?

Another factor is I'm wildly more attractive and mentally sharp these days and don't have social proof I used to have, so maybe I used to just not attract shit because I was strong and confident, whereas now I am strong and less confident.

Wishy washy question I know but really not trying to make a shit post; there are many ideas that I am actually looking for help pulling apart from wiser members if possible, please delete if this totally isn't the forum for it. Thanks
