So a lot of feminists like to argue women don't wanna report rape, domestic violence, etc. when male victims of those crimes are way less likely to report it. They also promote myths such as "the criminal justice system goes easier on rapists than other criminals" or "being afraid to report a crime or police failing to arrest someone is peculiar to rape". Aside from the fact that male victims of rape, child abuse, domestic violence, etc. are way less likely than female victims to report it, men are less likely than women to report crimes/violence in general, whether it's robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault, etc.

In the research paper Sex Differences in Violent Victimization, 1994, they found that men are less likely than women to report any kind of violent crime, with or without injury:

Both men and women were much more likely to report when there was injury, but even then, men were less likely than women to report the crime. With injury, the difference was slight but still there. Without injury, there was a big difference in how often women or men reported the crime. The percentage of women reporting the crime when injured increased but among men, the percentage reporting when injured not only increased, but skyrocketed.

This looks at one year, but even in the span of several years, this was true. According to Reporting Crime to Police, 1992-2000, they found men less likely than women to report any type of violent crime:

This data shows that men are less likely than women to report any type of violent crime, especially crimes like robbery, aggravated assault and simple assault. They also were less likely to report rape, but this only shows men who admitted to being raped, which they probably won't do in National Crime Victimization Surveys. Men who admit in anonymous surveys to being victims of rape might be more likely to have reported the crime than men who didn't wanna admit it. Most men probably don't wanna admit it. The percent of men who report it is probably much lower than 27%.

So why are men less likely to report? They're taught to man up and take care of problems on their own and be stoic or self-reliant. Women aren't taught that. Society views women as damsels in distress who need to be protected and society cares more about crimes/violence against women and children than crimes/violence against men. That's why men are less likely to report.
