A quick story… My ex (2016ish) was a low-effort “nice guy”. Fairly good looks, good physique, momma’s boy, his idea of a date was getting food, then going to my place for “dessert”. No romantic gestures, always low-balled, always expected me to take initiative. Was weirdly obsessed with me taking the pill. I did not last because I got fed up after less than 5 months of being the one with the pants.

About 2 years later I see him in a new relationship. “Welp, guess he found his pickme” I thought

And imagine my surprise when one day I am surfing youtube and stumble on a Corey Wayne video (you know the guy who encourages men to “take control of women”, but “never marry”), and as I’m scrolling through the comment section I see my ex’s recent comment saying he “didn’t want to die alone”.

Out of curiosity I went to check - he’s single again I rest my case 😂
