They're doing what they normally do, trying to make themselves special using words, not actions.

My younger bro is actually an empath. His life is a horrible fucked up mess of pain. It sucks. Imagine seeing someone's micro expressions/body language being enough to send you spiraling into depression, watching the news makes you want to kill yourself, so you lay down and do nothing, hearing about a happy event turns you almost manic, he has absolutely no control over his emotions without huge amount of focus, and a few meds. Almost all of his communication with me is through phone or when I'm only strictly having neutral okay days. "He has managed to make his way in the world by adapting, vetting only very stable people as friends, wearing headphones often, no media, home business" on the upside he's an unbelievable lie detector." He spins plates just like any red man, but his vetting is so brutal they're more like 2 or 3 night stands. The moment drama appears it can literally fuck up his day. Maybe two.

No. Women aren't Empaths. Empaths are Empaths. And it sucks. And it's a shitty way to be.

But it's the same thing as beta men claiming they're sociopathic or something to be edgy, to be a Dexter light, etc.

Trust me, ignore what they say, women and beta's, watch only what they do or you're just bombarding your brain with frustration over things you can't change.

This is what drives just about every decision made by females (and an increasing number of males).

Because they love empathizing with alphas....... Doesn't mean they're good at it, usually. The better his reputation and looks the more intrigued they are to know just what he's thinking....so they can use this to manipulate him into sharing his genes or resources with them.

As it's commonly stated on this sub, women find it impossible to empathize, regard, or feel guilt towards betas. At best they feel mild pity generously seasoned with contempt. As a man, never ever expect empathy from a woman, it will be used against you later. She will view this as a fun game.

As someone else said, "overcompensating for actually feeling empathy". That should be "overcompensating for not feeling empathy". Women are social creatures, much more so than men. They want social brownie points. They'll even cry rape to protect social status. That should tell you enough.
