There is definitely something to what you are saying.

There is a lot of condemnation of masculine association with strength as “toxic masculinity”, but clearly still the idealization of brute stength. Just look at the fetishization of the so-called himbo. He is exactly like a traditional strong man in every way except he is as dumb as a brick, thus ripe for control. The perfect soldier, much like Forest Gump! Then look at female super hero’s, what is Captain Marvel if not just a douchey version of Thor? When Thor is arrogant and full of himself, it’s Ironic and a comedic character flaw. Captain marvel’s arrogance is %100 not a joke, literally her whole character is old tough guy cliches from Dirty Harry. Woman’s empowerment on screen, is a repackaging of 80’s action movie tough guy tropes, all of which would be considered toxic masculinity if the protagonist has a penis.

One feminist buzzword I do find useful is "hegemonic masculinity". This refers to whatever type of masculinity is more socially acceptable and rewarded at the time. For hegemonic masculinity to work, men who don't fit that standard have to be shamed for it.

I can see the tide is starting to shift so that "traditional" masculinity is in the bottom, and a "new" "feminist" masculinity is the hegemonic one. You can already see this in the examples you listed, where men who oppose feminism are often virgin-shamed (just made that up, you know what I mean) or body-shamed. If you think about it, feminists' calls of demanding men to "call out" other men would fall under that umbrella too.

Donald Trump was president just a bit ago, so obviously I'm not going to say we're at that point just yet. But we're headed in that direction, I think.
