This is an idea that I have been thinking about for quite a long time now and is based upon this question:

"Who do you vote for, as an MRA, if you want actual progress on issues?"

The answer, of course, is nobody (with the exception of some fringe parties). I spent some time digging in to the government's approach to the education gender gap. The official response is 'We do not know why it exists, and we have no plans to find out let alone do anything about it'.

Even in the wake of the Sarah Everard murder a politician said 'We cannot rule out a male curfew'. Why not? And why can a politican say this so casually with no repercussions yet nobody would dare utter the words 'Muslim curfew' and keep their jobs?

The statement that 'men have absolutely no representation in parliment' seems absolutely ludicrous on the surface but any degree of analysis shows that it is absolutely true. We don't.

What I want to make is a website similar to theyworkforyou.com in nature but from a male issues perspective. You would be able to look up your MP and the various parties and see what they are (or are not) doing about your issues, and register your interest on the site on voting for who has the best platform.

The idea would be to then present an 'issues slate' that is largely unarguable - focusing on education, healthcare, mental health, etc - and present a questionairre to representatives that asks various questions about what they plan on doing to tackle these issues. None of these issues should be controversial unless you are in the fringe feminist minority - I mean who opposes 9 year old boys getting a fair shake in primary school that isn't a crazy ideologue?

Politicians need votes more than anything. If a politician can get votes by supporting some issues that no sane person would oppose then they will do that. If enough votes were on the table in a contested region then it would almost force them to get on board.

As long as controversy, demagoguery and political partisanship can be avoided and the issue slate kept to slam dunks (for the first few years) there is no reason why it cannot shift the needle.

Personally I have been arguing with normies about men's issues for years, so I have a good idea what arguments work. I am also a full-stack web developer who is more than capable of doing this sort of thing, and doing it well.

I'd like to eventually do some form of Patreon/Kickstarter at some point but wanted to get some feedback before creating a full idea proposal/wireframe/demo as nobody in their right mind would sponsor a random Reddit post so let me know what you think.

The final thing I am lacking though is a good name so any ideas would be greatly appreciated (PM me though so I can register domains, etc.)
