"You get no sex!" is probably the single most self-defeating argument she could have come up with. Pretty much making it perfectly clear that having sex is the metric she judges men on ... which would make her a sexist hypocrite.

Bonus points though for: "The more I have to deal with females like you, the more I appreciate my girlfriend" hits home HARD. Everytime a woman on reddit tells me I'm a piece of shit for stating my preferences (when the post literally asks for them), I text her and tell her I love her!

Imagine actually having to deal with these hags. Jesus. I'd be on suicide watch.

[–]JohnDax 74 points75 points76 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Also, when they say "You get no sex!" it's clearly because it's all they have to offer...

[–][deleted] 81 points82 points83 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Shaming men for always thinking about sex.

Also value a man based on how much he get laid.

Makes sense to me /s

[–]Randomcat32 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not just women but other guys are bad about this. Seen dumbass late night talk shows host say crap like this. Remember one of them making fun of a dude who women a scramble championship "OMFG you know he's a virgin!" Yeah how dare somebody have a god damn hobby and be good at it!

There are to many subs on reddit that shame men even for masturbating . Its got to the point from both the extreme left and right "men shouldn't spank it at all , and only have sex if she wants it or to overpopulate the earth, never for the pleasure of the man"

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 23 points24 points25 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely.

Not only that, but it's also their only leverage in life. No skills, no personality, no talent ... it's the only reason they aren't homeless.

[–]ATLtuxin285 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

What are you doing to deal with these folks so much? I hope the answer is trolling.

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They usually come find you.

Write your opinion under "r/askmen" or "r/AITA" and here they come. Desperately trying to correct your opinion and behaviour by trying to argue, then shame and then pile up on you.

A lifetime of helicopter parenting has made the women narcissistic children, a lifetime of browbeating has made the "men" into their sissy allies, with a lot of scumfuckery behind close doors.

These people are utterly worthless. They cry when you don't want to marry a prostitute, they cry when you don't want to date a trans girl, they cry when you criticize women for literally anything, from abusing men to cheating to being violent in general.

They have been indoctrinated to the point where therapy won't make a difference. And no matter how hard you rip apart their arguments, no matter how irrational and stupid they sound, they will still not back down no matter what.

There is a saying in my home country that perfectly sums up all these "Progressive" types:

"These people are not worth the powder needed to shoot them."

The only good thing about them is that they are so worthless and so stupid, it has actually become extremely easy to become successful in a competitive field. Just be normal and you leave them all in the dust.

[–]ATLtuxin285 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

nly good thing about them is that they are so worthless and so stupid, it has actually become extremely easy to become successful in a competitive field. Just be no

Couldn't have said it better myself.

[–]KellyBelly916 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's also exposing her intentions as wanting to be a gatekeeper of sex. She's not only trying to dictate supply and demand, but also trying to inflate the value of sex with her. This is very common among young and dumb women on social media in which they create the illusion that they're just being themselves while doing everything possible to be sexually suggestive.

These girls get pumped and dumped by guys who barely give them any attention and then the girls take it out on half the population like we're all assholes. They can't understand that if they're going to objectivity themselves, they're going to be treated like the objects they act like. The reality is that if all they have to offer are their bodies, that's all anyone they come across is gonna be interested in.

My biggest issue with these people is that they truly believe that they're never wrong, even perfect. They then spread that toxicity through social media which creates cults, just like r/femaledatingstrategy for example. They literally cannot handle a debate or open discussion because their inflated ego means more to them than any change of genuine happiness. This creates escalating division and social decay at a time where it's the most detrimental.

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is very common among young and dumb women on social media in which they create the illusion that they're just being themselves while doing everything possible to be sexually suggestive.

Nailed it.

Same reason violently oppose hentai, sex dolls, paternity tests, male only spaces ... you name it.

They don't want to liberate themselves from us because that would liberate us from them als well. They want to controll and influence our behaviour ... and surpress our ability to stand up for ourselves.

That's why they invest laughable amounts of times in showing off their attractive traits (or cheating by artificially enhanching them) and then try to shame us into reacting to it. They willingly objectify themselves, then pile up on us for merely paying attention.

Good thing is that these brats use all power and influence as soon as you stop paying attention. They need us SO MUCH MORE than we need them. That's why they'll never win. That's why there are so miserable in life.

[–]KellyBelly916 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They demonize it until they can personally make money from it by exploiting people. This is why they combine gatekeeping with inflating their value through it. They know exactly what they're doing, they're just dumb because they don't realize they we know exactly whet they're doing. The simps are too emotionally or hormonally controlled which means that their bullshit only works on the weakest guys.

They should stop insulting the only guys who are willing to put up with their crap, it's like making fun of the only customers who are willing to come to their crappy store.

The guys these girls really want treat them like the trash they are. Since they can't take it out on the guys who remind them of their actual value, they rant to who they think are the simps because they're the only ones who will pretend to listen or care.

[–]knucklz74 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

To make it EVEN WORSE its the reason why my wife is from another country. Literally thier being outsourced and dont realize it, because there caught up in their Disneyland world. Is the exact reason why you see in my videos and I hear them saying now it in their thirties that they can't find a man that will commit look young man and man over them done finished let him live in their Disneyland World

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This really hits home.

I have been with mostly western girls. And they really do try to get you to commit to them. It's just that a severe dopamine addiction and a lifetime of helicopter parenting has rendered them utterly worthless as long term partners. For a broad variety of reasons.

They list all these requirements they have and rules a man should follow ... I check pretty much all the boxes. But I'd rather die alone than give what I have to offer to one of these useless brats.

My girlfriend, a girl I'm openly talking about starting a family with, a girl I'm dedicating myself to in order to make both of our lifes easier - she is from Cameroon. Wealthy family, well raised, so many wonderful things just come natural to her. And she is not just willing, but eager to match the effort I put in.

My parents love her. My siblings love her. She is here to stay. And I wouldn't have it any other way. No western girl could ever compete with her. Not even close.

Outsourced indeed. And honestly: Every time I see one of these bitches choke on their anger, the little boy in my giggles out of sheer Schadenfreude. They will be washed out of the gene pool soon. God bless!

[–]knucklz74 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Amen brother, I remember the first time i talked to a woman overseas , oh my God , literally couldnt believe there were woman out in the world like this anymore. Im not kidding LITERALLY i not from that day forward NEVER EVER LOOKED AT ANOTHER WOMAN FROM THE WEST, I GO SO FAR TO AVOID THEM AT EVERY CORNER OF LIFE!! Their indulging in a GRAND failed attempt at warfare feminism. And LITERALLY there losing and just DONT GET IT. Its really SAD. My wife is from Brazil ,shes a little bossy , but i LOVE HER MORE THAN I LOVE LIFE! Shes my world. She has the values my mother had , probably your mother had. Woman in the west DONT HAVE ANY RESEMBLE OF THESE ,and even go so far as to brag about it. And I don't know if you have any children boys specifically but this is a very hard conversation I had to have with my step-son and he's 16 years old. But he understands. He will never Bend or break or leave his Christian values that we taught him for any of this insanity. We're going through immigration process right now we got our interview April 19th we're nervous but we're praying everything goes okay. Thank you for sharing your experience this is seriously important that other guys read things like this. There's life out here and really good relationships but unfortunately they're very very very very very few and small between with Western women.

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Their indulging in a GRAND failed attempt at warfare feminism. And LITERALLY there losing and just DONT GET IT. Its really SAD

They are drowning in their own toxicity.

You got stats from the US about one in three women being on psych meds and single women over thirty being BY FAR AND WIDE the most depressed demographic.

They are lashing out at us and while doing so simply ruining themselves. And they are being easily replaced. Like in our examples.

Also: Yes. My mother and father both raised all three of us traditionally. And I'm in a seriously good place right now, career wise, relationship wise, socially .. you name it.

Because I learned one thing: The values we believe in are correct. Following them has consistantly made my life better and has had people gravitate towards me. Even the most toxic progressives couldn't help it.

Praying for your immigration process to go well! Keep going and never look back!

[–]knucklz74 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks bro, its weird , YOU THINK EXACTLY LIKE ME. And yes I WILL ALWAYS TOW THE LINE AND KEEP OUR VALUES !!! Wish you and yours nothing but the best

Nah he was saying it was ok for men to harass women for the clothes they wear… he was definitely in the wrong although the hand comment probably would have been better suited for a losing argument

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points31 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No woman has been harassed in this scenario, these comments were made without her being involved in the conversation, nobody said those thing to her directly and she probably doesn't know anything about it

[–]actuallynick 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I saw a FDS post the other day about how men are NOT visual creatures because women can see more colors or something that that effect. The problem is the visual part doesn't have anything to do with color. When I see a woman in skimpy clothes or tight clothes with a curvy body (whatever I'm attracted to), I get a dopamine shot in the lizard part of my brain. I can't control it and i can't stop it. The fact that most women don't care about this simple fact is such a hypocrisy!

[–]throwawayfaraway02 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I never understood this concept of how men are visual creatures and women are emotional creatures. We are both human beings who are visual and emotional, although it might be to varying degrees depending on the person. If I saw an attractive dude, I'm going to look. If I'm not sexually attracted to someone, I'm not going to fuck. Anyways, FDS are just female neckbeards who think their pussies are worth their weight in gold but in reality, their personality, attitude and beliefs are shit.

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Then you are 100% correct.

Women trying to surpress that are trying to control speech and thought. They can fuck right off.

[–]AutumnAced 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

He wasn’t saying it was ok for men to harass women for the clothes they wear. Saying that if you do something a certain reaction is more likely to happen and saying that I’m ok with that reaction are completely different things. And you either need to pay more attention when you read or you need to get that brainwashed process of thought of yours behind. You immediately upgraded his comment from an observation to either supporting sexual assault and harassment or doing it himself. I usually don’t say this but whether on purpose or not, you’re part of the problem

[+]bobross432 -16 points-15 points-14 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

He said that “I feel like the definition of sexual harassment doesn’t involve this scenario” in reply to a women dressing in revealing clothing and being told not to (so that she doesn’t get harassed)

[–]AutumnAced 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How does that relate with that I said?

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah he was saying it was ok for men to harass women for the clothes they wear

If that was his opinion, I firmly disagree. Need to check if that really was his point though.

Thing is: This accusation is thrown around a lot in situations where it doesn't really apply at all. Age old tactic of lumping all opposition into a uniform mass and then attributing the worst mutation of their general position to the entire group.

In this case, objectively true statements like "the risk of being harassed rises when you frequent low income and high crime rate neighbourhoods" are being turned into "hateful ideology".

There are things you do that increase the chance of something bad happening. Doesn't mean you deserve it. But a solution-oriented person will correctly point this out.

[–]LegoJack 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

making it perfectly clear that having sex is the metric she judges men on

Because sex is the only thing she brings to the table

[–]Middle-Eye2129 42 points43 points44 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No sex and small dick are always the first thing women like to throw out when there losing an internet argument.

[–]Ilovegirlsbottoms 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That’s why I can’t win an argument with a woman.

[–]Ftpiercecracker1 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why you dont argue with women. They argue with feelings and men argue with logic.

[–]1nTheNick0fTime 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is an L for you both lol “I woke up and chose violence” is cringe

[–]Pranavboi 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why don't incels and femcels team up and fuck each other? All the problems would be solved

[–][deleted] 46 points47 points48 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Context: Title: Will i be the a-hole if i ask my sister to dress more apporpriate due to my friends making comments between each other about her being "hot" hot and about her breasts?

My comment: you can't force a woman to change clothes, you can't force men to stop making comments about women. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Stage 1 is arguing the merits.

When they lose, they try to piss you off - as seen in your post. Stage 2.

Stage 3 is brigading. Bitch knows she is wrong, bitch knows your position is much more thought through, so she runs back to the hive to get other femcels and browbeat men to yell at you.

If that also doesn't work, she goes back to her dopamine addiction, lying to herself that she made a difference.

This is literally every single argument with these misandrists ever. Wait for it. She'll drop you on r/niceguys or some other sexist sub soon.

[–]Randomcat32 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh she will and we have a lot of misandrist in the comment section here. Notice they never ever attack misandrist but are always the first to screech "incel"?

[–]Alarmed_Mechanic_403 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because most of them hate men

The most common reason being their own narcissism making them ineligible for a relationship, since they offer close to nothng but demand perfection from men.

Really hit them hart right into their disney princess/boss babe delusion. Too weak to adapt, they are forced to hate men to cope.

[–]Illyrian_Warrior115 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I always like to say people should mind their own business. Though eyes will always look and comments will always fall, no matter if a person dresses modest or skimpy. It just shows that the OP's friends are shitty if they horn after his sister. We are humans and sexually driven as fuck.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It was about students so no wonder they are horny. However, you do you so if you want to show your body parts expect people to judge them, simple as that.

[–]thekrispytoe 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"You look a certain way, therefore I get to be a twat to you about it" is gonna get you decked some day. Yeah, you can go on and on about your freedoms, but as people like to point out here, freedom is not freedom of consequences.

Also, insulting some woman in your DMs is not a PPD. She's hasn't been denied anything, you're just two idiots continuing to fight with each other.

Man, this sub used to be about actual justice, now it's just about being dicks to women. ffs.

Ahhh yes the incel insult. For someone who's been in a relationship for 7 years like OP. Super ironic that you're proving them right that when people have no leg to stand on all they can come up with is "tHeYgEtnOsEx" or "iNCeL".

You may have a point, but defaming someone with lame as fuck insults makes you immediately the loser.

If a woman dresses in skimpy clothing I will look. Same if I see a nice car. I’m not going to stop looking just cause they get offended. If she does not want me(or any men for that matter) to look, she should have dressed more conservatively. It does not mean I will harass her or act towards it, but I will look. And my wife even points them out to me. Just like I point attractive guys out to her. Women judge men for “perving”, but they are just as bad, if not worse. I know, I used to drive my wife and her friends around when they have girls nights when we were still dating and oh boy, do they go way below the belt with their comments. Literally undressing guys with their eyes, discussing the bulges in their pants etc. But then again, never once has any of them gotten offended when I make comments on how they were dressed… The more I see trash like above the more I appreciate my wife. Most of the women like above have nothing to offer except their bodies, as that is all they have to offer in a relationship, effectively making them prostitutes cause the men “take care of them” in exchange for sex. And then they wonder why their husbands have affairs when they get old and ugly…

[–]Randomcat32 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A lot of pissed off Misandrists in the comment section. You have to "love" the people that always come here and pull the tired and overused "incel" word and yet they never EVER go to the misandrist subs to defend men or call them a bunch of misandrist. They can't see the irony that they can even come here and post but we can't on those other subs..

This subs does draw a lot of simps though "Look honey I defend Womenz on that "incel" sub can I be the man tonight?"

I swear that sub is the new FemaleDatingStrategies, last time i interacted was about a girl saying "well i'm a woman so i was about to say You're The A-hole but...."

People are biased based on their own gender, and that sub is mostly women so...

[–]Channel5exclusive 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I haven't seen anything like that in that sub. Just recently there was a story by a woman who is a supervisor, about how she had made what was a sexist joke to one of her subordinates. The subordinate didn't find it funny and threw the joke back at her with the roles reversed. The supervisor got offended, wrote the subordinate up for insubordination and reported him to HR. What she didn't know was that the subordinate had reported her to HR as well and asked to be moved to a different division.

Everyone crucified her. She was unanimously the asshole.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes there's some sparkle of hope here and there in that sub, seems like logic is still a thing there.

[–]MentallyDonut1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (50 children) | Copy Link

Hot Take: The way someone dresses isn't grounds for you to comment on their body. I get the point of this sub, but your thought process on the subject is abhorrent.

Major Incel energy.

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (17 children) | Copy Link

Looks like somebody didn't read his comment correctly.

[+]MentallyDonut -12 points-11 points-10 points 4 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Talking about yourself there, bud?

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (15 children) | Copy Link

Seeing as i did read it, he was clearly saying that if you dress a certain way, you should expect a certain type of reaction from people, if you don't want that reaction, don't dress that way,

kinda like dressing like a clown and then being mad when people don't take you seriously.

I honestly think you did not read the comment correctly and went off at the mouth too soon, but judging by your childish as hell response, i'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you probably are just here to stir shit, regardless of what was actually said, he doesn't agree with you, so he must be "DA ENEMIEE"

[+]MentallyDonut -7 points-6 points-5 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

You literally just explained the exact problem. The way someone dresses ISNT A FREE PASS TO SEXUALLY HARASS OR EVEN SEXUALLY ASSAULT THEM.

They aren't dressing that way for YOU. Keep your thoughts to yourself.

And childish? Lmfao. In what way is calling out creeps like you childish.

Let me guess, you also believe that when a woman gets raped, you blame the way she dressed instead of the rapist.

You're deplorable.

Did LadyBonersGoneWild not work out for you? So here you are. Pro tip, pal: Almost no woman would willingly date someone who holds opinions like yours.

[–]maplehobo 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

From OP:

Context: Title: Will i be the a-hole if i ask my sister to dress more apporpriate due to my friends making comments between each other about her being "hot" hot and about her breasts?

Key phrase: comments between each other. They never said anything to the girl so it's not sexual harassment, much less sexual assault unless you're the kind of people that want to police everything men do that you don't like or approve of.

[–]MentallyDonut -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm not even discussing OP's comments with you, I want to focus on the fact you genuinely think that the way a woman dresses is grounds to comment on their looks.

And for future reference: talking about a someone behind their back is considered sexual harassment in the workplace, chief. Maybe not in this specific scenario, but you will lose a job over it

[–]maplehobo 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you genuinely think that the way a woman dresses is grounds to comment on their looks

If you meant not to her face I very much do so, yes. I think people should be able to say and think whatever they want with other consenting adults. I've had locker room talks about women with my friends. Buh fucking hu for you. The fact you want to thought police what people do in their privacy and you think you're one of the good guys is seriously concerning.

[–]Cryptophagist 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean I get what you're trying to say here but I think what this comes down to is kind of a basic level of humanity.

We wear clothes for a lot of different reasons the main being just to keep us warm and comfortable. Which makes your ideals on the situation 100% relatable.

But in this day and age a lot of people wear clothes for many different reasons. There are clothes that are considered hip, grunge, dirty, light, clean, sleek, rich, business, fashion, revealing, dark clothes, bright clothes all sorts of things. Clothes and what we wear have become a way we represent ourselves to the world.

In that case we just or comment people in general, men and women, on their clothes all the time. Whether consciously or not. So considering all that I can see the stance he is taking and it's 100% relatable as well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you want them to have one about your clothes or not.

Now actually saying them out loud to the person or their family etc.... I think it comes down to people in general. Should nobody be able to comment on anyone's choice of clothes ever? Men or women's?

Some of women's clothing is made to be specifically sexy or revealing. Who knows in the original post maybe his sister is doing it on purpose? We don't know. I doubt it. But I don't entirely write it off either.

So I think without all the back and forth you two are just misunderstanding where you're both coming from. No people shouldn't be harassed because of just their clothes. I agree.

But acting like in this day and age clothes don't represent more is disingenuous. In all reality people are complex and blanket statements really can't apply here. Because people will judge people on their clothing that's a fact. It's just part of human nature and doesn't really matter if it's a man or a women. Clothes matter.

[–]Froggzee 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No one said it's okay to sexually harass anyone. That was your conflation. If you're going to argue do it in good faith so people don't tell you your username checks out.

[–]coocookaboom 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I think you may have hit your head, you are incapable of understanding the concept.

Never said anything is a free pass, you did, you also said "a free pass for YOU to assult them" nobody said anything about me.

Lastly, if you dress in a suit and walk around with a rolex at night, in a slum area, and get robbed, whos fault is is? Answer this question only, no insults, no stupid remarks, just answer that one simple question.

[–]MentallyDonut -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Your last comment tells me all I need to know about you.

In every situation, rape or robbery, it is 100% the fault of the aggressor. What kind of mental gymnastics are you trying to pull trying to blame the victim in both of these scenarios?

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Bless your heart, you really are an idiot, if you can't grasp the concept of taking responsibility for the outcome of putting yourself into bad situations and eviroments, you are just dumb, that is like basic advice you get from people growing up, if you hang around gangs and drug dealers, and end up in jail, it is YOUR FAULT, not the other guy, not the cops, not "the system" it is your fault by putting yourself in a situation or enviroment for that to happed in the first place.

[–]MentallyDonut 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The clothes you decide to wear are not "putting yourself in that situation". Case and point. And it's unfortunate that people like you actually exist.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

Hot take: women don't necessarily have to control your opinions/thoughts/words about them, also people talk to each other's back everytime so i don't see how that's different.

[–]MentallyDonut -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

Secretly isn't gloating about it, smart guy. The way YOU phrased it is borderline sexual harassment.

Did you get torn to shreds and called out on AITA, so you came to this echo chamber of a sub expecting people to agree with you? And now that a fair few people aren't agreeing with you, you don't know how to justify yourself? Weird.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

On the contrary, my opinion was that the brother would be the A-hole for asking such a thing to his sister, it has always been.

His friends shared their own opinions about her being "hot" but as far as i know nobody told this to her openly, how in the world is finding someone attractive is considered sexual harassment?

Honestly i agree with u/coocookaboom, you clearly misread my comment.

[–]MentallyDonut 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Sure. It's literally everything you said AFTER that that is the problem.

"Unappropriate clothes bring unappropriate comments. Freedom is freedom." etc. Also, in case you didn't know "unappropriate" isn't a word...

OP, literally nothing you say can justify the blatant misogyny you're displaying trying to defend this terrible opinion lmfao.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

[–]HeadCowGrazing 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

This is the most used insult when discussing men's rights, if you care about men's rights you can't get laid. At this point you're making yourself look more sexist than OP. There's nothing wrong about being a virgin or not getting laid, it's a sexist stereotype that men who can't are not worthy of attention. You're not going to convince someone that they are sexist by being more sexist yourself dude

[–]MentallyDonut -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

"Men's rights" lmfao. Tell me man-to-man, what rights have we as men ever been depraved of. Specifically, if you are a white male when have you ever been stripped of a specific right?

I'm convinced you're being sarcastic right now.

[–]HeadCowGrazing 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

The right to not sign up for the draft and decide what to do with our body. That's one, there's many more if actually cared but it's obvious your reply was toung in cheek. I'm not gonna entertain this sexist nonsense, race has nothing to do with this and you're already going down the racist route of "if you're white you're life is on easy mode" so there isn't any reason to engage a sexist and racist troll. I'm Hispanic and brown for the record.

okay so lemme put it like this:

according to her logic noone's allowed to make comments about me if I wear a miniskirt that makes my wiener hang out

edit: this reminds me of a story where a rapper, who has beaten women regularly, died. The comment section went along the lines of "that's mean, that's not how he wanted to be portrayed after his death"

like...yeah and now? If he doesn't want to be portrayed as an asshole he shouldn't have been an asshole. As easy as that.

and if you don't want "slutshaming" comments on your clothes you shouldn't dress like one (or you can just ignore them because people will judge either way. So either don't care about the opinions of others or dress differently)

That's the way they are. Same morons who came up with the "advert the male gaze" bs. Humans a visual creature how dare us use our sight to look for a partner to keep the species going!

[–]rainbow-panic-attack -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

It’s more so the “inappropriate clothes bring inappropriate comments”. Implies guys can’t control themselves and women have to cover up so men don’t make them uncomfortable or in extreme cases assault them. Or do you deny that “if she didn’t want it, why did she wear that outfit?” is a common way to dismiss rape victims?

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (17 children) | Copy Link

It's kinda like driving without a seatbelt, would it be better if car crashes didn't happen? Of course, but if you die cause you weren't wearing a seatbelt, is it kinda your fault? Of course, i only hear this argument used to defend woman's behavior, if i as a man walk around a slum area at night dressed to the nines with a rolex on, and get robbed, is it bad? Yes, am i also an idiot for doing that? Also yes, this really isn't rocket science, it's pretty simple logic.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This.

Just to be clear, nobody is justifying rape, it's gross and illegal

[–]rainbow-panic-attack 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

I’m sorry how does any of this change what I said? People didn’t like the quote I quoted because it’s similar to what a rapist says to discredit victims. But hey gotta love the image you and OP are giving men by doubling down on the whole “don’t want to be harassed? Don’t wear that outfit” logic.

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (14 children) | Copy Link

Yes... don't want to be robbed?

Don't go to sketchy areas,

don't want to get shot at? Don't sign up for the military,

don't want to work? Don't get a job,

you literally sign up for getting attention, when you dress provocatively, you don't get to pick and choose the attention you get, if you don't want attention, then don't dress nice, you'll be invisible to all men, problem solved, i don't know a single woman who does not judge a man by the way he dresses, stop your double standard crap, it's laughable.

[–]rainbow-panic-attack 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

It’s cute you think some men are only annoying when women are dressed provocatively. Gotta tell all these women getting catcalled and assaulted in pajamas and sweatsuits that clearly showing no skin is what caused the unwanted attention. But congratulations. You said the quiet part out loud just further proving why women get so defensive. People like you think all problems go away if they “don’t dress nice.”

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago* [recovered] (12 children) | Copy Link

No, but it increases the chances, i think our fundemental issue, is that you are arguing about they way things should be, and i am arguing the best way to act knowing the way things are, does complaining about how things should be is futile, better to accept how things are, and take caution accordingly.

[–]rainbow-panic-attack 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I am aware the world is a shitty place and I act accordingly to minimize the possibility of getting hurt. Just because I don’t think we should tell women “you wouldn’t be harassed if you didn’t dress like that”, I’m suddenly pushing a “double standard.” If you want to be a prick and blame the victim for something out of their control, go ahead. I can’t stop you nor was I trying to. I know what your logic was and I just don’t agree with it.

[–]coocookaboom1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (10 children) | Copy Link

We are talking about comments, just words, not rape "sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me" you should expect certain comments to be made if you dress a certain way, it's basic common sense, you can't expect everyone else to bend to your will, and only say what you want, you just gotta brush it off.

[–]Randomcat32 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Funny how you never mention women doing the same to men. Look how those old women on one of those morning shows where checking out all the men swim team during one of the past Olympic and commenting on their looks. But if you didn't have double standards you wouldn't have them at all would you?

[–]rainbow-panic-attack 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Funny how you assume because I don’t agree here, I somehow don’t find that equally as creepy. I have seen grown ass women thirst over actual teenagers. I am fully aware anyone can be creepy and should be called out for it but I didn’t see the purpose of dragging that into the conversation about women being harassed.
