Intro: 18M college student just stared freshman year, no close friends, feeling left out.
My Story: I'm going to dive right into it. Orientation week at college was dope because the two years before I took my fitness more seriously and used TRP ideas to improve the way I come across to people. The result was me being able to go up to strangers and talk or sit with random people at lunch and hold conversations with them.
However, once orientation ended, most of my group ceased contact, and I felt like all the connections i had made were back to being just phone numbers. It's been three weeks now, and seeing people walking around with their groups, gf's, and best buds is starting to make me feel anxious. I've been sitting alone for meals for most of the 3 weeks, and even though I don't really mind that (5x5 and martial arts really do make you focus more on food then talking), I'm worried I am doing more harm than good.
I've been going to the Uni gym since the second day of orientation, three club callouts, and eating healthy (soz farm animals).
I keep telling myself that this is just what monk mode is. Is it?
