being a fat slob is framed as a guy problem, not something affecting both men and women. But what is even more bizarre is that, for a man, being a skinny is also seen as "unattractive"

yet for most human history being fit meant having low body fat and stamina. Being fit meant looking like these guys. Not a bloated Hemsworth in Captian America. But here being a skinny man is seen as a handicap. Skinny is unattractive, a skinny guy is presented as equivalent to a severely overweight woman. What kind of logic is this?
