This is something I hear come up a lot with men. They have said that they have had to keep their ex happy in order to see their children. I understand that a lot of times the courts are biased against men and so you've had to jump through hoops to keep your ex happy in order to see your children.
What are some of the things you've had to do in order to keep your ex happy? What sort of ridiculous things have you had to go through? How has it affected your current relationships? Have you had a pretty understanding partner or has it negatively affected your relationships?
I'm just trying to get and understanding of what it's like. I've had a few men say this to me and honestly, it has come across like they're more worried about prioritizing their ex then their current partner. Is this really something that is common or is it just an excuse to carry on with your ex?

I just asked my ex if I can see my daughter any day in the next 2 weeks, even if just for a few hours after school. Nope. "We have plans." You have plans for two straight weeks during the school year? I haven't seen my daughter in a month now
