hello everyone, although i have never really been seen as a man because i got to transition during my teenage years (mtf) and hence only experienced being a boy in this society, i still feel like most of the issues regarding men are not ENOUGH talked about. I wanted, for this reason, to share my experience since i got to experience life as both genders, a thing that doesn't happen to everyone:), and show support to the men of this sub !

[ NOTE : i'm not initiating a discussion on my transidentity but rather will express all the changes that i have seen in my day to day life being MtF. also i'm not saying that women don't have their own struggles, but this is not our subject either. ]

i could talk about all the differences in treatment men & women and that starts at a very young age, at least in my experience. here are some of my observations;

[1] men are inherently seen as PREDATORY, it's not even a gender thing to some, but rather a sexual characteristics which is sooo dumb but that's also what feminist ideology perpetuates. we wouldn't give a man the benefice of doubt in most cases for example. our brain is literally enclined to thing that a man has more chances to be guilty, a potential rapist etc.

[2] "toxic masculinity", this is something i noticed in my early teenage years where many feminists put into the mind of young men of my generation that being "masculine" was inherenly bad, toxic and destructive. & this is honestly the dumbest shit because they tend to forget the positive aspects of being masculine such as providing, caring, helping ( yep, i'm talking about my olther brother and my dad who have been the best to me since i transitionned"^ )

[3] even though we hate men being toxic, when they're more feminine than expected, they show too much emotions, cry or JUST talk about their daily isssues ( just like the creation of this sub lol ) leeds them to being made fun of. the best example is the bullying i experienced for being a "feminine boy" back then .
