I don't understand why they call it phobias, I've had gay friends and grew up with friends that had lesbian parents. I follow a trans person on youtube. I'm not afraid of these people, I'm just not sexually attracted to them and would not date them, because I'm straight and have preferences.

A phobia is something that you are scared of, like a fear of spiders or a fear of tight spaces or a fear of large objects - that you try to avoid at all cost. We're not scared of gays and trans or dislike them, lol.

Even fatphobia is a ridiculous word, I only started hearing about it last year, even some of my friends that I am not friends with anymore, used the words fatphobic and fatphobia ever so often. Just because I want to be healthy and fit, it doesn't mean I'm fatphobic. Honestly, it seems like there's no reasoning with people anymore...

I love how in posts like that they're all "I'm gonna get raped!" but when rape posts come around it's "It's people you know who rape you, stranger danger is a tiny percentage of it!"

So they have less risk of being raped on a date with someone they don't know than a man has at being murdered just walking down the street... and it's "worse for women!"

Their logic is... fucking wrong.

I don't doubt that the so-called transphobe remarks that the moderator deleted were people trying to explain that not wanting to date a trans person does not equate to transphobia.

That sub is so trash. Any one that censors me because I support people is just such a loser. I know that subs are run by many people, but someone put those rules in place.
