I'll just stick to condoms

[–]mykoiy 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If men started using pills. It will prevent women from stealing sperm from used condoms and then accusing for rape or demanding child support.

Why?

[–]Monster3gamez 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Cus I don't trust pills. And condoms are protecting from more then just getting someone knocked up

[–]Greg5829 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That secondary effect becomes the deciding factor. What else do you want with your fries. My wife uses birth control to regulate monthly hormones but we still use a condom at the very least it is faster cleanup.

Just personal pros vs cons.

I do think this is a good deal. There are a good many men who would prefer to take a pill to keep them sterile in the hopes they could later stop and have children at their leisure while still having full contact. There are some women who cannot take or use already available prescribed birth control as it sometimes causes negative side effects.

Rashes, Cramp, Depression, Lebido changes, reactions with other medications, etc. Having choices and options is a good thing.

Others can use what they want. I'll just stick to what I know works

[–]Zhorie-Rove 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Why not use both? Double the protection.

[–]Monster3gamez 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I dont trust pills it's that simple

[–]Zhorie-Rove 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

And men having greater control in not being forced into parenthood prematurely doesn’t benefit them how?

[–]mykoiy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

wdym?

[–]JustMissKacey[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If a woman has a failure on her birth control or worse, chooses to get pregnant without his consent, a man can end up a father or with child support he didn’t want and believed he was safe from.

Having access to male controlled birth control beyond just condoms means men have more power to prevent those situations.

[–]mykoiy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I already know this and fully support this. Why are you telling me this?

[–]JustMissKacey[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The commented about it being useless progress?

[–]mykoiy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I never said it was useless. I linked a sub reddit that is about the progress made towards helping men.

Sorry about that!
