The Red Pill does well to teach us many things:

  • Women are not angels
  • Alpha attitudes get you far with women
  • There are differences between men and women that should be embraced
  • You should be very cautious about marriage and consider getting a prenup

But we go too far with some of the things we tell each other here. Here are a few statements (that I believe are true) that contradict what a lot of people in the community seem to believe.

  • Having sex with some woman that has a boyfriend/husband is wrong and, when we do that, we hurt each other. There is far more suffering that results from getting cheated on once than there is happiness that results from having sex with a beautiful woman a few times. Even alphas get cheated on. Therefore, we hurt each other when we help women with boyfriends/husbands to betray their boyfriends/husbands when we game/pursue/have sex with them.
  • Choosing to pursue a long-term relationship is a high risk/high reward lifestyle. It is true that there is potential for increased suffering by choosing to pursue a long-term relationship, but it is also true that there is a higher upper limit to how happy a life we can live if we pursue a meaningful long-term relationship instead of resigning ourselves to casual relationships only.
  • And here is the most controversial one: cheating on your girlfriend/wife is just as wrong as a woman cheating on their boyfriend/husband. True, it won't cause a woman to mistakenly raise a child that is not her own. However, the feeling of betrayal that she will/would experience upon discovery of the activity is comparable.

Let's not deceive ourselves.
