From my understanding, the people in this subreddit are extremely against forcing men to pay for a child they didnt want or cant interact with/own due to the mom of the child not allowing it (if i remember correctly in this sub its reffered to as "child trapping").

Also from my understanding, the people in this subreddit are mostly against abortions and the right to have it done to you.

If i got any of that wrong, feel free to correct me.

Now, kids require money (and most of them cant provide any) to be raised, right? That is why a man is forced to pay the mother of the child if he isnt helping to raise it for any reason (willingly or unwillingly). Dont get me wrong, im not ok with this and im not supporting this in any way, im just stating the "logical" reason behind it.

So what puzzles me is: if abortions avoide this problem, and doesnt force anything upon men, how come you all against it?

To make it clear, im not here to discuss if abortions are good or bad or if forcing men to pay for a child they made is good or bad, most of you seem to have an agreement and if somebody doesnt then ofc nobody is going to change anyone's mind, so im not making any statements, im just asking what am i missing here.
