On The Red Pill you hear a lot about guys who start their own businesses with nothing, ie sales, freelance writing, dropshipping. That is a fine path, but not for everyone. I would like to know Master's degrees where you can work for someone else for a few years then start your own business -- think psychologist, masseur, personal trainer or dentist. Good, stable jobs where there is a clear path to becoming your own boss -- open up a practice or office in a strip mall, possibly expand, and call it a life. In my experience these guys seem the happiest, with the most freedom and decent access to women. What are a few options that people don't commonly consider?

Dentistry is a great example of a stable job that's not as influenced by the market as other self-employment. People need their teeth cleaned, they must go see the dentist = instant customers. I would like something like that, but with less school so I can start working sooner and building the network necessary to start my own business. Money actually isn't that important to me, I would just like to be able to make ~$80k a year and be able to say I did it hanging my own shingle.

Background: I'm a 27 year old programmer (unrelated degree), still have a couple years of my youth left and already want to GTFO the cubicle farm.
