UK - I've filled and ready to pay for online divorce petition. Solicitor says better to pay them to file on my behalf vs filing myself to avoid delays as my case would need to be transferred to the solicitors portal. They said it would allow them to request financial disclosure sooner. Is this true?

Spouse is hiding/dissipating assets and I need financial disclosure asap. Mediation started before filing as has failed due to spouse dragging it out. MIAM certificate received. I have been very slow to act.

Filing via solicitors will cost total me £1793 vs £593 doing it myself. My online divorce form is completed and just needs to be paid for. I need speedy progression to financial disclosure via solicitors after filing. Am I better off just paying solicitors to file for me instead?
