You have to define what you mean by "suffering". Do you mean suffering from not enough food? Medical treatment? Sanitary conditions? Being subject to violence? and this is why:

Right now feminists love to say shit like: "Women suffer most in war."

They say this despite the fact that the vast majority of war deaths/casualties (95%+) are male.

The feminists will ignore these death statistics and point to the fact that after a war, societies are rebuilding, all the men are dead or injured and the women "suffer" because there are so few men to rebuild and provide resources for them - leading to GREAT suffering of women.

Apparently these feminists agree with Stalin's: Death solves all problems, no man, no problem.

A dead man is no longer suffering, but isn't counted among the numbers of those who have suffered unless their death somehow causes a woman to suffer from a lack of resources, in which case, it's the woman's suffering, not the dead man's or men's suffering in general.

A man with his legs blown off may be suffering, but nobody cares about him. No woman is going to marry him so he's not going to be reproducing, and he can't work to rebuild, so whatever his suffering may be, he's not productive or useful, so he doesn't count either, his absence is, to women, like a dead man - only increases the suffering of women becuase he doesn't provide something for them.
