I think you're upset about the wrong program.

WIC is a supplemental program for children. Some key foods (like dairy) are included for women while pregnant and breastfeeding because the infant is getting it's nutrition from the mother's body.

SNAP is the US program for feeding adults. That's where we should be correcting inequalities between sexes.

WIC is for pregnant / postpartum pregnancy and to insure proper nutrition for the growing baby , and to help the mom gain her strength back. Formula in America costs anywhere between 20 -30 dollars per can. A baby goes through 9 cans a month X 30 = 270.00 a month , this doesn't include diapers ,wipes , doctor appts etc. This program is for low income families only. Which would find it difficult to afford special formulas due to milk allergies etc. The Childern can get wic up to age 5 . See nothing wrong with this program.

WIC is extremely restrictive in what you can buy. For example, you can buy basic Cheerios but not frosted Sugareeos or Chocoeeos.

Food stamps have some restrictions, like you can't buy hot food, cigarettes, alcohol, dog/cat/bird food, and non-food items.

WIC is not inherently misandrist.

Men and women ARE different, and any accusations of misandry (or misogyny for that matter) have to be weighed with those differences in mind.
