What I am going to write here is true. This post contains information from a beta provider (my grandfather) and the woman that left him for a bad boy (my grandmother).

My grandparents got divorced when my grandmother was 35. It was a traditional setup; my gran stayed at home and cooked and cleaned and looked after the 3 kids. My grandfather worked hard and provided for his family. One day my grandfather discovers that his wife is cheating on him (she left the kids sleeping in there beds and then went out in the family car to the other man's house) and then she says she wants a divorce. She marries the other man who then divorces her 6 months later. She changed her surname back to that of her first husband. Those details were confirmed to me by another member of the family so my grandfather's account seems to be fairly accurate and true.

My grandmother on the other hand felt like she was his slave. That cooking and cleaning and looking after the kids was unfair. She says she didn't have any friends, that she never got to do what she wanted. While I heard this I was sick to my stomach. Here was the hamster spinning in its wheel. 75 years old and she still can't see that what she did was wrong. She continues to play the victim card to this day.

So gentlemen, this is not a new phenomenon. Women have been using and abusing beta providers for decades. Once they got the pill they could get the bad boy and have the beta provider keep paying the rent. Men like my grandfather never had the information that is available to us today. Today we have the means to spread the word, to teach other men and provide them with the knowledge that will stop them from getting used and discarded.
