I don't see how this is a men's rights issue.

The person in question went to Capitol Hill on an orientation day for her spouse, a senator-elect. If anything, she seems like a positive role model for spouses of politicians in that she assisted him with the physical requirements needed for him to do his job as a senator-elect (regardless of her politics). I don't know why she received a lot of hate mail for doing so - that's on the people who sent the mail - and apparently the UK Daily Mail thought the story was significant enough to write about it.

I don't see that she's done anything that could be construed as attacking or weakening the status of men by complaining about the hate mail she allegedly received. So what has this got to do with men's rights?
