According to google the OED defines patriarchy as "a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it." That's largely true, although the feminists all preach that the reason men hold the power is because they don't want to share it and are selfishly holding on to it.

My thinking is that men hold the power, because as has been noted, we're the ones building the skyscrapers, the roads, repairing the cars, and doing all of the dangerous and dirty work. And we're the ones who have the innate ability to deal with problems by grabbing the bull by its horns, analyzing the issues, and dealing with them. Because we're interested in things while women are interested in people, we get things done. And so the men naturally accumulate power.

I also suspect that the women realize this in some unconscious way but don't know how to deal with it and so they react irrationally and emotionally, blaming men; after all we've been the problem solvers so they no doubt think we should solve this one for them as well.

I mean, men, in terms of physical/domestic abuse? The "sacred" NCBI/NIH document that feminism occasionally likes to cite as their source also suggests women are roughly equal in terms of violence in relationships. They'll never admit it; instead leaning hard on individual statistics cited from the same document, despite other statistics pointing toward instances where men are victims of abuse as often, or, and this is the big point, more often than women. You'll almost never hear this from Feminist dogma; they'll tell you to look up the data, and when you do, it really doesn't help their claims.

They instead hide behind the grossly simplified metrics that very clearly lean in their favor; as in, if there's 3 million total reported abuse victims, and 1.56 of them are female victims, and 1.44 are male victims, they're still going to argue "but women are victimized more!" even though the statistical variance is so close that it may as well be equal.

In terms of manosphere things, it's more a function of manosphere related issues being demonized & propagandized against; and a relatively extreme amount of misunderstanding of the issues, coupled with a misattribution of crimes claimed to be related.

I mean, look at the banning of the MGTOW subreddit. To my memory; there was a specific public shooting that happened, where it was reported by FBI that the shooter's computer had MGTOW resources on it. The reliability of the sources claiming that was never really questioned, but it, in part, was what lead to the subreddit getting quarantined. Another year or so of all the typical red pill rage and similar content, and it gets banned.

I don't think we'll ever know "the truth" of what happened to the MGTOW subreddit; and only really be able to look at it as an example of the degree to which social media (reddit included) controls freedom of speech.

It does a good enough job of spelling out the "source" - in terms of educational institution, Feminism only started out as a single class you'd take in college back in the 60's/70's. It has since become a broad reaching degree unto itself of Gender Studies, or as the video also would describe it "Political Grievance Studies". It's basically white knighting, as a college degree, and not necessarily specific to gendered issues.

There's enough to extrapolate from that, describe in all kinds of detail, but it ends up tangential to the question; as supporting arguments or otherwise, that the education system of decades ago is partly to blame for the current social/political/educational bullshit we find ourselves in. Where at once it was an argument for equality and women's issues, it's quite literally (as the video says) become a weed that has entangled itself into a couple dozen different doctrines/degrees, and has it's sights set on very-much-discrete sciences (STEM fields mostly); and arguably the past couple years even seen some entry arguments of "Feminist Math" or "Feminist Science" - which objectively becomes apparent that it's pushing/injecting some kind of agenda, but to the lay-person just glancing through the article *probably doesn't see anything wrong with "But it's wrong that 1+1=2 doesn't care that I have a vagina!" kinds of rhetoric to attack Math (or whatever subject) as sexist/racist/any other -ist.

Ill share more evidence of feminist causing harm when it comes to female MRAs like Karen Straughan.

... I'm... not sure you even watched the video you linked at this point; as sure it's Honey Badgers, and that's something Straughan is very closely involved with. But the video is narrated by someone else; she even credits herself in the first minute or two, and it's not Karen.

I mean, I'm sure Straughan & Honeybadgers appreciate the traffic, but a part of me thinks you probably have a lot more effort to put into actually paying attention to the authors/sources than just blindly plugging Straughan because she's probably the most well known Honeybadger-er.
