I'll preface this by saying I discovered the redpill like 2 weeks ago, and I'm totally on board with the concepts. However, I feel the need to share my story, as I wonder whether other people have experienced a similar situation. English isn't my first language, so excuse any writing errors.

Here's the summary of the story:

I entered my first year in Uni and noticed this girl in one of my classes. She was pretty cute but wasn't anything special, I'd prboably argue I'm better looking than her. I'd say I'm a 7 and she's a 6, but there was something about her that caught my attention.

Started chatting her up and we had a scarily similar background, we both lived in the same countries, spoke the same language, both had the same specializations!

I was your typical bluepill fella. I didn't want to rush anything, gave 'subtle' hints, never made any interest clear, nice guy shtick. Also had this weird reasoning that by meeting someone with such a background, I should develop a friendship not a relationship, as I'll never find someone with that much in common again. Deep down I was lying to myself.

Anyhow during that time I developed a case of oneitis. I wouldn't approach any other girl because all my focus was towards her. I'd help her with all her homework and really do anything to make her life easier.

We became pretty close, but not too close. We were quite open with each other. She'd have no problem showing me her phone and all and opening about her family situation. She told me she had a conservative family and her mother doesn't want her talking to boys at all, and how her brother basically monitors her over that. Yet she told me her brother knew who I was and that me and her brother are the only guys she talks to. I'd also take some glimpses on her phone and I had never seen her text another guy.

Anyhow, I was hesistant whether she was attracted to me, but a few months later she was telling me how her friends think I'm attractive and how she thinks im cute. The fact that she also said she liked that I wasn't creepy and that I was funny (she never stops laughing when I'm with her) and assertive, made me assume she was attracted.

So one day while eating we both brought up the topics of wanting a S.O. I then asked her what do you think about us two being a thing, and she totally froze and became nervous. She kept saying "why me?" "So many other pretty girls" "I mean I'm not the only girl you talk to" "honestly I don't think it'd work", I then told her "come on, dont give me that, think about", and she said she'd "think about it."

She never bothered giving me a response, even though I saw her almost daily.

My thinking? I didn't want to rush her or sound needy.

So because it had been a few weeks since I hadn't gotten a response. I started acting like a bit more of a dick.

I'd tease her, rant at her over little things (late texting reply time for example), would make weird rules like how i didn't want her friends near me. Pretty much became needy and controlling despite us not being a thing.

This went on for months.

So last month, I decided to open up to her about everything that happened. I decided to ask her multiple questions and here are some highlights about that conversation.

Here's what I told her:

"You're a dick for not giving an actual answer"

"What do you really think of me, actually what do you tell your friends about me"

"What were your first impressions about me, I always got the impression you saw me as nothing more than just someone to copy homework from"

"Not that I'm asking you out again, but out of curiosity what are the chances of you ever reconsidering us being a thing"

Her responses:

"I thought it was kinda obvious, I didn't want to hurt your feelings"

"I tell them you're really smart and funny"

"Honestly, I used you for homework for like the first week, but that was before I got to know you. After I got to know you I began to consider you a close friend"

"I honestly don't know, like I just think of you as a good friend. I mean there's nothing wrong with you, I'm sure any other girl would want you, but I don't feel that way toward you. I don't know if anything can change that, but who knows"

Now after she said that last line, I went with a total beta reply:

"So you're saying the chances are slim then? Well, all I'm gonna say is I'm one of the few who actually cares about you, and that means something when most people don't"

Her response:

"Yeah kinda sorry. And yeah that's what I'm saying you're a really nice person, and that's why I want to keep you as a friend"

Then that conversation ended, and I felt like I had some closure. That was up until I went back to uni and saw her again. I jokingly told her I was close to cutting you off, and she like totally freaked out.

"Why?! I'm very grateful to have you in my life. I'm legit serious. Please don't ever say things like you want to cut me off"

Now this is where my red pill journey began. I began doing my own research, and from what I've gathered, it seems like ghosting is the popular option when getting friendzoned. However, when it comes to ghosting how do I go about that when I will see her every day in small classrooms?

I am also curious to see whether anyone else has experienced such an event before. Reading back, I'm embarassed with a lot of my decision making, but I can't go back in time. The important thing is that I'm a 18 year old college student who is just entering his prime and I have a lot of time to make up for that.

I've also bought my first gym membership as I'd say me being skinny is something that's holding me back, and hope to apply a lot of the other concepts as well. Thanks to those who've read this, and I appreciate any feedback.

TL;DR: got friendzoned by 'there's this one girl', she doesn't talk to any other guy except for me though, how can I ghost when I see her all the time.
