Further proof that Quora is an absolute shit hole of a site. It's gotten even worse than most of reddit in the past 2 or 3 years. I wonder how many times some of those answers and answers like them have been reported to no effect.

I think that attitude is fed by the toxic idea that men are supposed to be providers. If you start with that attitude, then it follows that men who live with their parents are "leeching" resources, rather than being financially independent resource generators.

Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where men are simply regarded as human beings, each with their own hidden struggles.

The personal and financial independence is a fair argument to make to live on your own. I don't know the actual stats about people who live with their parents past a certain age but I imagine things like the cost of living crisis, house prices going way up and ill health or certain conditions will be a huge factor to stay with your parents for a little longer. None of that means a man should be labelled as a leech or parasite.

I live with my parents and I'm 25 and I can save up as much money as I want and of course I still help with bills, Chores etc and I like it plus they're the only people I have in my life that care about me (Besides my sister). I'd rather do that than pay over $1000 a month for a small one bedroom apartment

All the threads regarding women living at home are filled with reasons we should not judge and should be understanding. When the rare comment is made suggesting he would not date an adult woman who lives with her parents, the comments to his response immediately slap him down. The contrast/double standard here is extreme.

Goes for both genders, move out and grow up. Unless your from a culture where this is the done thing. Nobody in my country wants to date someone living with their parents.
