Wow, this article certainly wears its female bias on its sleeve for all to see:

More anti-war feminists are speaking up for an end to Selective Service, further undermining the bogus claim that preparation for larger, longer, more unpopular wars than people would be willing to fight is somehow a feminist policy. Notably, this year the National Organization for Women joined the many other endorsers of the Selective Service Repeal Act.

Hmm, strange how Obama and his entire administration – including Congress – was vocally and proudly feminist, and they were in power from 2008-2016 in the US, yet there was never a peep out of any of them about the male-only draft until the 2020's arrived and they saw this issue as one that could be used for political capital.

Oh, and this false narrative also tries to memory hole all the feminist media, organizations, etc, who constantly ridiculed men over the last few decades when they rightfully called this "discrimination". Who can forget arguments like: "A draft hasn't been held in decades so you have nothing to fear" or "Just claim you're a conscientious objector" or similar dismissive takes. Meanwhile they focused all their effort on dealing with "serious" issues like air conditioning and violent staring.

I'm not buying any of this bullshit, fuck you very much.

Even though the provision to expand the selective service system to everyone to achieve equality in the law was once again unfortunately taken out of the final bill of the NDAA,We need to continue to push for equality in the selective service and in the law.We need to continue to raise as much awareness that we can as well as continuing to call on congress and the senate to make the necessary changes to the selective service system by either abolishing it completely or expanding it to everyone to remove the discrimination in the law.Please show your support for equality in the law by signing my petition that calls on congress/senate to make changes to the selective service law.
