Ngl, I've noticed a decline since MGTOW was banned. Most of the top comments here aren't too bad, but I don't go very deep into them anymore.

Are you surprised by what you found here? Groups like this despite many people's best effort turn into a shitshow. That's not at all dissimilar from the way that feminist circles started with the idea of advocating for women's rights not by being sexist or tearing down men but to just have a voice in the conversation, and then it was overtaken by sexism and bigotry. It's the same thing with politics, it's the same thing with religion. Extremist type of ideology seeps in and starts infecting the majority to the crazed ideology of the minority.

It's unfortunate that so many of them have come here after mgtow was shut down. There are those of us here that have actually been fighting the good fight for a long time. There are those of us that actually do more than just post/cry on Reddit to try to advocate for men's rights. A lot of people call themselves men's rights activists without actually doing the activist part but on Reddit much like in life you cannot control what other people say.

Unfortunately, if you want to hang around a place like this you have to have thick skin and you have to deal with the fact that there is a lot of men who are just frankly frayed of women and they're afraid of women's vaginas. I'm not sure why it's this way, but it definitely is. I'm sure I'll get downvoted just as much as you. Now that being said, that doesn't excuse you from criticism or being downvoted because you say something that we disagree with.

That being said, this is also Reddit, you could literally post anything in someone is going to argue with you. Reddit as a whole is a toxic environment and it's not just limited to this sub or any other sub. Some guys here simply just want to bitch and rage on women because some woman in their life is being unfair to them as a human being and they simply just want to vent. Then there are some guys who are like that just because, well really, they were raised by shitty parents who enabled this sort of behavior.

If I were to give you advice, it would be don't let other people stop you from doing what you want to do. The fact that you're leaving this sub which seems like you don't want to, because people say mean things on the internet. You're going to struggle a lot with life if you cannot teach yourself how to not be bothered by what people say. If you want to advocate for men's rights because they are in fact human rights, then you have to be willing to endure the nonsense around it. It's no different when you advocate for women's rights or children's rights or any kind of rights because they're all human rights and the struggle for human rights is always a challenge. I wish it wasn't, and people's rights were a thing that everyone agrees on, but the truth is not everyone agrees. Thus the struggle to advocate for those rights is a challenging one.

Here's to hoping that you grow thicker skin and not allow mean people on Reddit to drive you away from the things you want.
