Men looking at female celebreties = bad, objectification, sexism
Women looking at male celebrities = female empowerement, female sexual freedom
Men voicing boundaries = insecure, controlling, fragile male ago, pussy, his emotions do not matter
Women voicing boundaries = confident woman, how dare you disrespect her and hurt her feelings ?
This seems rooted in two phenomena. The first being misandry, making people not care about men and even thinking they deserve suffering. The second being the framing of male sexuality as evil while female sexuality as good.
Objectification is only thought as a problem because sexual violence is only thought as male on female. But even without talking about the real stats about sexual violence, it doesn't make sense. If you consider that objectification lead to sexual violence why do you support women objectifying men ? It would mean encouraging women to commit sexual violence against men right ? Hypocrisy at its finest.
