This has been something in the back of my head that I have been wrestling with due to societal norms, perceived pressure from family members, my own personal subconscious naive desires, and just caring too much about what other people will feel about it especially my Dad. But I've made the decision due to manifold reasons:

  1. Times are different than they were in the 80's and 70's and older, marriage is just a name now and there is not the same if any caliber of connection to the same value it held back then.

  2. Raising a child in this climate and future society is a terrible idea. Society is already jacked beyond jacked and it's getting worse as the years roll on. I've had a mentally hard life and I refuse to pass those traits onto any children, leaving them in the same DNA and environments I've had to deal with. I refuse to expose my future seed to it, leaving them in positions of sadness, depression, paranoia, and contemplating suicide. I refuse to put them in positions they didn't ask to be put in simply because I was selfish and wanted to fit into societal norms and wanted to have a kid. I'll pass.

  3. My interest in starting any kind of intimate relationship with modern women has dwindled significantly due to me being turned off by the way they act, think, their beliefs, their doctrines they follow, their infatuation with social media use, arrogance, dishonest hypocrisy, manipulative intentions, and verbal/mental abuse with feminism and goddess worship holding the puppet strings. I don't trust modern women enough to even allow myself to even think about anything serious, even with the ones you least suspect and put on a good show. I'm good.

  4. No money out of my pocket going towards everything related to dating, marriage, or kids. Thousands upon thousands of dollars saved. No financial ruin due to dating/marriage requirements, divorce, child support, alimony, college for the kids, the list goes on. No legal problems due to dating/marriage/divorce. No arguments. No taking abuse. No becoming a victim of feminism.

  5. Keeping to myself, my hobbies, and all of my interests keep me going and give me a peace no modern relationship could give. Maybe 200+ years ago (maybe) but that's a stretch. I feel like a huge percent of my internal stress and frustration was stemmed from all things having to do with either dating, yearning for marriage, or just worried over future aloneness. Now I don't care. It is what it is. No skin off my back if I'm alone because it seems like there's more struggle and problems that crop up when you AREN'T alone. More susceptible to be a victim of something. I have accepted that reality and a weight has been taken off my back.

  6. It feels good to be able to let my figurative hair down and actually live my life instead of being depressed or concerned I haven't found the right person yet. Tired of it. When will it happen, blah blah. Don't care anymore.

I don't care about anyone else's opinion on this matter either. I'm doing what I feel is best for me..
