Study finds that "manuscripts written by women as solo authors or coauthored by women were treated even more favorably by referees and editors" yet gets reported with the heading "no gender bias". Gender bias against men doesn't seem to count as gender bias!

Following a petition, Winchester University cancelled a talk with two men's rights activists in 2019. Here is the text of one of the talks (by William Collins) that were planned. It covers education, suffrage and coverture. It's disappointing that such views can't be expressed in such a forum.

95% of strip searches of children reported in England & Wales are of boys. This may or may not be an issue but I found it interesting that it was considered unfair that black children were more likely to be strip-searched but this huge gender disparity was barely mentioned in lots of media coverage.

Mr Haugh found: “This is nothing more than an assertion, unsupported by evidence.”

AKA the modern woke world run by feminists.

[–]antifeminist3 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I recall a feminist talking about the same subject. She showed a workplace policy that showed women had much more choices about what to wear than men. In other words, the policy already discriminated in favour of women and discriminated against men. Of course, she spoke about 'restricting women's freedom.' and that this needs to change.

And feminists still think that feminism is about equality. It is more about their own instinctive gynocentrism manifesting politically.

She totally made it all up, either to get a quick payday or to blackmail a promotion. I find it interesting that she’s a trained architect yet is working as an administrative assistant, so that Uber expensive 7yr degree is totally wasted…no wonder she wanted some cash, those student loans have to be huge.

Public University is ~€3,000 per year, which is paid for by the government if you're an EU citizen. I know, because I went to university in Ireland, you bloody cretin.

https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/education/third_level_education/fees_and_supports_for_third_level_education/fees.html

Most undergraduate students attending publicly funded third-level courses do not have to pay tuition fees. Under the terms of the Free Fees Initiative, the Department of Further and Higher Education pays the fees to the colleges instead.

The 3000 euro is called the student contribution which isnt a "tution fee" . "Tution Fees" are additional fees which international students most pay on top of the 3000 euro. Irish students must pay the 3000 euro student contribution, "you bloody cretin."

Most colleges charge an annual student contribution, formerly called the student services charge. It is also known as a registration fee and it covers student services and examinations. The amount of the contribution varies from one institution to another. The maximum rate of the student contribution for the academic year 2022-2023 is €3,000. See Budget 2023 for information on changes to the student contribution fee in 2022/2023

SUSI pays the other part, https://www.susi.ie/index.html

I know, because I went to University in Ireland, I know what I am talking about.

Susi pays if you're low income not if your middle class or above which is what the majority of ireland is

As if any of that money was going to go to student loan repayment.

I can’t believe you’re wearing a hard hat, it’s a phallic representation of the oppression of women. It looks like the tip of a cock you monsters.

This is scary as shit. Basically, don't speak to female coworkers.

So if I'm understanding this right, she used the good ol' "I'm entitled to that position even if others are equally or more qualified because I'm a woman" argument and was willing to grasp at whatever straw she could find. Glad to hear it didn't work for once... although it still has a huge, years long toll on the entire system.

So, she was employed as a clerk and somehow got chosen for an on-site management job over engineers?
