So yeah. Got matched with a decent looking chick (girl A) on tinder who seems to be good friends (noticed they got pics together on insta) with a girl I was previously trying to smash but who just played with me a few years back to get some attention (girl B). Once I realized that I broke off contact with B and have never heard or seen her again.

Now this new girl that I matched with on tinder seems quite cute and nice asked me if I know the other one, which is a valid question as we come from the same town and apparently have a bunch of friends from the same friend circle.

My question is not whether it makes sense pursuing her or not but rather on how to respond to that question without coming off as an ass/cuck/butthurt dude.

As I am pretty sure: If I reply with, I dont know her or barely know her, then girl A will be like: oh thats a lie, he was super into me yadayada...

...It's basically about damage control more than getting laid, as things like this could backfire in a small town like mine.
