Opportunist sexual predators will always and everywhere turn up when children are separated from their parents, or the parents aren't able to perform their normal role of vetting who their children spend time with. Refugee situations, people finding it necessary to get into cars with strangers, or to live in overcrowded temporary accommodation with strangers. Doesn't matter if it's Syria or Ukraine or the whitest iciest part of Iceland.

There's also a kind of sexual predation on principle, where young women from an outgroup, young women displaced from the family/community that normally protects them, or whose family/community has failed to protect them, are seen as fair game, as spoils of war. It just might be the case that this second kind of sexual predation is culture-dependent, that it's more likely in tribal/clan culture, in so-called "honor" cultures, in cultures where it's not normal to give young women much independence.

But even to suggest that when men from such cultures immigrate to the west, they just might see Western women as fair game according to the above rules, that would be a trope and a stereotype, it would be the r-word that's worse than being a child molester. Most white women are sexually abused by white men whom the women know. Checkmate, racist.

i made this point some days ago, however this seems like normal anti-male women are victims. it's not necessarily related to xenophobia. had this happened in a white country they might be saying the same unless i'm missing something
