Brian and Liz are a freshly married couple, just a year into their marriage. Brian is very into sports and likes to attend sporting events as often as possible--basketball games, hockey, football, etc. Liz hates sports and thinks that they're stupid. While they were dating, Liz often went to these events with Brian anyway because she knew it was important to him. However, now that Liz and Brian have settled into their adult, married life, with all the extra pressures and responsibilities that come with it, Liz would like to spend less time at sporting events that she doesn't really enjoy. However, and this is important, she still makes time to go with him twice a month.

This is not good enough for Brian. Brian refuses to go these games by himself or with others and thinks that Liz is selfish and lazy for not going with him as much as she did while they were dating. He feels she is not putting any effort into their relationship by not going as often.

Now I ask you, humble readers of r/mensrights, if I were to say that Liz is a "lazy shit" and that Brian should dump her selfish ass, what would be your reaction?

If I had to guess, I'd say that most men and women (and readers of this subreddit) would say that I'm completely off base. No?

Well, I wonder how people would react to "Liz" if she were a man and didn't enjoy doing something his wife did... Oh wait. I don't have to wonder:
