I can honestly say I've never hit a woman, or abused one.

But i do remember a girl i was seeing for a short while. She was short, feisty and a bit on the ditzy side. She also believed that slapping or hitting me in the face/shoulder was an acceptable form of communication to get me to do what she wanted. That didn't last long. I said some mean things and haven't spoken to or seen her since.

A bit of a pointless story, but I felt like sharing because of the article.

It's funny, because if men ever bring up the issue (you know, to maybe raise awareness) of domestic violence against them, they're accused of whining and saying "WHAT ABOUT TEH MENZ!?" Meanwhile, feminists keep bringing up domestic violence against women every chance they get, even if it's irrelevant to the discussion.

Want an example? In a post on /twoxchromosomes (SRS-lite) about a video regarding domestic violence (with no mention of men as victims), one of the feminist users said: "Wow, MRAs are rampant in those comments. "But what about the menz!" I'm SO fucking tired of that shit. Hey men, shut the FUCK UP for change."

Another said: "I can't even imagine how you can spin this to garner sympathy for men."

And their strawmanning, hero of the day: ""This makes menz look like tha villinz. Not all menz are abusers! Plenty of men are the vicitims!""

All of these were highly upvoted (not something pulled from the bottom of the thread).

Of course not. Only people can be victims. And men aren't people. So men aren't victims.
