My old neighbor (moved out a week ago) called me today. The water bill came and the new tenand called her to pay for it and she called to ask me how much my bill was because hers was a bit more than usual.

Anyway, I was planning on calling her next week and invite her to hangout, as a first and last attempt on making a move before she leaves town for good next month. So we talked for a minute and then I said,

Me: You should come by sometime when your off work.

Her: you missed me already?

Me: (teasing tone), you didn't though!

Her: Nope! (giggles)

Me: you just called about some bill

Her: haha

Me: Anyway , got to go we 'll be in touch

Her: yep, Goodnight!

Where I think I fucked up is by not suggesting an exact time to hangout rather than just mentioning it, but I wasn't even sure when I was not busy next week to meet, I wasn't planning talking to her until next week when I was going to decide on time and place.

And then to top it all of "complaining" about her not missing me , even if I am sure it came out in a non serious way, I think the context shadows the delivery. But perhaps am over-analyzing this shit.

And then saying we'll be in touch was unnecessary!

Is this at a point of no return? How should I proceed? I know this post alone does not provide context for my whole vibe with this girl, in short was a friendly dude, teased etc but failed to make a move while she was living next door, even when I managed to hang out with her alone.
