This was during the anarchic free-love phase of the sexual revolution when fashionable people didn't put any limits on who they had sex with - men, women, children, dogs, toasters. Now that the sexual revolution has gone into a more totalitarian phase, the early sexual revolutionaries find themselves in the position of Communist party apparatchiks who had a drink or two with Trotsky back when everyone thought he was a groovy guy.

Lol, I remember the Pedophile Information Exchange (PIE) from the 1970's. They had a conference booked at my college. It was halted, not by the student body and other university literati, but by the kitchen workers and cleaners who went on strike in disgust. I never heard of the PIE again. Patricia Hewitt is even worse than Harman.

Sadly in the senties and eighties it was not uncommon for some elites to promote sex with children. also in France and in Germany the Green Party has an infamous history regarding child sexual abuse.
