6.4% of boys are molested by women. (about half of those were doubly molested by both genders) There's no reason to believe female priests would be any less or more likely to molest.

Since there are few, if any, female priests, that means there is no virtually no chance of a female priest sexually abusing a child.

Now...if we did start having lots of female priests, that would change.

But technically that statement is true.

There are no more child molesting priests in the Catholic church than there are in any other organisation.

And as for women and child abuse, have these people never seen the stories or films about the behaviour of nuns in Ireland in the 50s and 60s? They were really nasty, vindictive bitches.

Yes, I think we can all agree the real problem with catholic priest kiddy fiddling is the disproportionate amount of men doing the fiddling.

While I am generally for allowing women to be priests, it will not resolve this issue. Women are as apt at pederasty as men are; all adding more women into the mix would achieve here is that now their behavior would be referred to as a 'relationship' rather than a 'rape' when its reported in the news.

Well just look at our primary schools: heavily dominated by women and you never hear of a single teacher raping a student.

Not once.

/of course that's because when women do it they say she "had a relationship" with that 10 year old, not "raped the 10 year old". But still. If catholics could get women to start molesting kids the r word would be dropped in the reporting of those events.
