My friend and his girlfriend always used condoms and, on multiple occasions, have discussed that if she were to become pregnant, they would have an abortion, as both of them live with family, are too young, and have no money. One day, she took a test and found out that she was pregnant.

Together, they made an appointment to take the "abortion pill". He was willing to foot the whole bill ($600), but it turned out to be covered completely by her insurance. In the two weeks leading up to the appointment, she started telling him that she was going to keep the baby and raise it herself. "You can't be a father to someone that you wanted dead, " she said.

For those two weeks, she flip-flopped her position several times a day. "If I get rid of this one, I'm not GIVING you another one." She said, and she reminds him of this constantly. After those gut-wrenchingly stressful times, they go to the appointment together and she takes the first pill. She is totally fine with it. The couple even went out on a date that night and had a great time.

The next day comes, and she comes home very upset, crying. Apparently she said that at work, her co-workers somehow knew that she was pregnant and were comparing stories and asking her what she was going to do. Obviously, this is upsetting and traumatic, as she had already aborted the pregnancy. The problem is, when he tries to comfort her, she immediately starts saying things like "don't pretend you're upset, this is what you wanted" and "you gave me no choice".

She had suddenly gone from a stance of aborting a pregnancy to killing a baby, placing the blame all on him. Right when he thought the emotional guilt-coaster was over, he is practically suicidal over the guilt that she is putting on him. He doesn't know what to say to her, as this is obviously a very delicate situation.

Any help?
