There is in fact a lot of ignorance about Jews and a lot of bigoted remarks against Jews in the thread about Professor Ignatiev. This is not something we should be proud of or defend. We will be though.

Good luck. There was a guy who pointed out about twenty times in the original thread that they were citing satire and not a real source, and about half the responses were "yeah, but we're still totally justified in saying all the things we said, because reasons". I don't see this conversation going anywhere, sadly.

I am Jewish, and I travel around the net and I frequently do see subtle or not so subtle anti-semitic behaviors.

Stereotypes. Rotten comments and name calling. Conflation of Israel's behavior with the behavior of Jews.

Discussion of Jews controlling society much as feminists complain of men controlling society.

The linked discussion shows a lot of this. People who are intellectually honest will read it and recognize it and not try to defend it.

Mens Rights is supposedly about getting rid of ignorance, and bigotry, and promoting equality for everyone. It's a human rights movement, right?

If Mens Rights is going to support or defend bigoted statements about Jews in discussion to hoax videos about one specific Jew then to hell with Mens Rights.

Tonight I've read mens rightsers defend anti-semetic remarks and transphobic remarks.

It is only satire when people get upset. Calling for the genocide of people should never be used in satire, jest or for "dramatic effect". Calling for genocide is so utterly far out there, that those who are fixated on petty name calling instead of the real outrage, are revealing their supremacist leanings.

I am not saying those comments should be tolerated, but the ordering of outrage is outrageous.

Then again, either someone is mentally deficient or I am blind. From this point on, I glanced at all the comments, aside from a few snarky references to his ethnicity(which started a convo if Jews considered themselves white or not), there is far more bashing of progressives.

If anything, this thread seems like a ploy to create settled conceptualizations. Settled opinions about things. You have an emotional based reply about how "the cold stares I get because I am Jewish"(I doubt most people could tell Jew's from Gaelic's, Germanic's, Norse or Slavic's) designed to create emotional support outreach that reinforce the points made.

A way of anchoring them in and becoming indisputable. So that they can be leapfrogged to force support of something else. The way the person doing the anchoring talks, or rather writes, they come across as one of Elam's homosexual activists.

So in the end this whole spectacle has nothing to do with a racist professor calling for the genocide of a group of people, or any faux "backlash" against all Jewish individuals just because one individual Jewish person is a bigot.

This is about creating the appearance of antisemitism for use by the Gay Agenda as a shaming mechanism. An act which is an act of antisemitism in of itself, perhaps the only act of hatred towards Jewish people that exists in either topics.
