Well I can fight but I'd always tell you avoid it. Move in groups, stay in public with lots of people. Know where exits are and accept that you might need to runaway.

Try to get screen shots of the convo and if you do get jumped try to get someone around you to film it and go to the cops. Tbh it probably won't happen. If it does pick up the nearest object to use as a weapon.

an old friend used to keep a big metal bolt in his pocket. worked a lot better than a roll of quarters. maybe start carrying one in each pocket

Have word get to them that you've been carrying a gun waiting for them to come to you. They probably won't be believed it at first, but the suspense will drive (at least a few of) them away.
