Can you guys help me prove how and why men have more responsibilities than women?

Consent to sex isn't, and shouldn't be, consent to 9 months of consequence for a woman, while consent to sex is consent to 225 months of consequence, on punishment of prison, for men. ("It's for the child" is misogyny, as it implies women are so baby crazy they'll have babies they cannot afford.)

Men had to pay for their right to vote through the draft (and consequent loss of 10% of all American men), and while women got the vote later, it came without cost; men had to wait until 1975 for that privilege, which was promptly rescinded in 1980.

Men face higher rates of incarceration and longer sentences for the same crimes, meaning men are more responsible/culpable for their own actions; this rings true in feminist attempts to eliminate female prisons, while lowering the bar for convicting men. (The gender gap is double the race gap, so if "men are more likely to commit crimes" is an excuse on par with "black people are just more criminal, who cares.")

Men are considered responsible for the choices women make, from the aforementioned compulsory child support, to her choice of wearing makeup, or even her choice to murder him (what did he do to deserve it?).

Men are responsible for their own safety, and the safety of women around them; to even suggest women care for their own safety is slut-shaming and victim blaming, it's the reason Slut Walks are a thing.

If "more responsibilities" includes "held to a higher standard", you can note police, fire fighters, military, etc., all areas with higher standards for men.

Women's rights that men don't have, granted by law:

A commission on the status of women in every state, funded by taxpayer dollars (men only have one, in NH, and it is unfunded).

Tax benefits for being a "woman-owned business"

Government contracts guaranteed to women-owned (and minority owned) businesses.

Violence Against Women Act.

Full rights to their own born children. Men only get rights to their children when granted by the courts or by the legal precedent of marriage to the mother.

A department of Women's health. (yet women live 7 years longer than men on average.)

An Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women. (yet men are twice as likely to be the victims of a violent attack.)

I can continue with the hundreds of government departments for women with no corresponding department for men, but I think you get the point.

Women's rights that men don't have granted by legal precedent:

The right to abortion (yes, this is a legal precedent, not a law).

The right to abandon her child without her partner's consent.

The right to place her child up for adoption without the other parent's consent (and sometimes against that consent)

The right to lower jail sentences for the same crime, more likely to receive probation than incarceration and also shorter periods of incarceration.

The right "not to be offended" in the workplace.

The right to have a man evicted from his home because she's "afraid" of him.

The right to make false allegations of rape/DV/Child Abuse with relative impunity.

The right to keep custody of children after divorce unless PROVEN to be an unfit parent.

The right to have a man arrested on only her word, with no supporting evidence, upon an allegation of rape.

The right to women-only clubs/gyms/accommodations.

The right to use depression, PMS, or "being controlled by a man" as a legal defense and having way more of a chance of it working (not an absolute right, but Mary Winkler is getting it there)

The right to a standard of "self defense" that does not include an immediate threat.

This list continues, but I'll move on.

Responsibilities that men have which women do not by law:

Selective service (The Draft).

A requirement to list themselves on a putative father listing to have even the thinest rights to their children.

To support their Wives (these laws are still on the books. Husbands can be charged with abandonment, wives cannot.)

Responsibilities that men have which women do not by legal precedent:

To financially support their children (1: custodial mothers are not slapped with a "earn this much or go to jail" order. 2: NCP mothers are rarely ordered to support their children when in the custody of the father.)

The responsibility to accept being forced into parenthood against their will. (This is a combination of law and precedent)

The responsibility to get over their past as men cannot use prior abuse as a legal defense.
