How the fuck do they even know though? Sure maybe men are more likely to admit to cheating, which is probably what they actually know.

But even assuming the claim "men cheat more" is true, there can be a lot of different ways to explain that. Men do seem to have lower standards for people they would consider having sex with, so there's that.

Shit like this always just seems to be looking for a way to bash men. Oh it's because they have poor impulse control.

I find that quite agreeable; men and women have the same amount of self control but men have stronger impulses. It doesn't sound that outrageous.

I think the more salient point is that the author of the study is saying the media is getting the results of the study wrong. It's bad enough that mass media "reports" on bad studies. What is more disapointing is they can't even get the results of studies right.

I think there is a huge underestimation of how much women cheat on men. Women are better at lying, deception and manipulation...they are simply better at not being caught.

it's bad science. making very general claims about very complex topics based on experiments that could easily be wrong. although I don't disagree with the conclusion, that men have stronger sexual impulses in general, I disagree with the ways they went about measuring the control. A simple picture labeled "good for you" or "Bad for you" is shit.

Just sorta comes off as confirmation bias
