I find radfems are much like fundies. "This is what I believe. I don't need evidence, this is truth, shut the hell up or I'll make you pay, facts don't real"

Ordinary (moderate) feminists are much like ordinary (moderate) religious types. "This is what I believe, that is what you believe. That's interesting. Isn't the world a beautifully diverse place? How's about we talk about something constructive and mutually agreeable, like let's have a beer, and my that is a nice top, is it new?" i.e. you may disagree, but unless you have a big point to make, you're best off leaving it to the appropriate channels (here, TiA, r/atheism, or even the ballot box)

That said, if you're not part of the group, you may feel a little uncomfortable if you find yourself where they like to hang out. Like an atheist at Sunday Mass.

Example: I'm quite left-wing. Not liberal, but practically communist. But I don't go around posting on the internet about how centrists are evil shitlords and that socialists aren't left enough and are just being brainwashed by the capitalist machine, and they should be communists instead.

Of course, it may be the case that moderate feminists don't exist. I don't know. I've only argued with those who were obviously radfems from the start.
