A little background: I am 19 years old, a sophomore in college. My very good friend is my roommate and he has a girlfriend let's call her "A" that also has female roommate living with her, let's call this girl "B".
This friday night B texted me inviting me to her apartment since my roommate and his girlfriend were there chilling. Everything was good and the four of us were just drinking wine and talking in the living room. After a few hours for whatever reason, my roommate starts fighting with his girlfriend, and they lock themselves into a room. At this point I start making out with "B" and she is very responsive (this isn't the first time that we kiss and we used to text fairly often). I try to escalate by being slightly more aggressive and dominant, pulling her hair a little while making out, having my hand around her neck, and things of that nature, but not going overboard. I would do these kind of things but also I would stop to hug her, hold her hand, kiss her forehead etc. (Balancing the aggressiveness with comfort). It doesn't go past that point, we never leave the living room, we don't have sex.
Anyways, my roommate eventually leaves the room and storms out of the apartment, apparently the fight was really big and "A" started crying and told my roommate to get the fuck out. I tell "B" that I have to leave because I want to check on my roommate. "B" tells me that its cool and she even open the doors for me and gives me one last kiss before I leave.
The day after, it turns out that after me and my roommate left. "B" went to talk to "A" and she started crying too. She told "A" that I was being incredibly aggressive, choking her, not letting her walk away, hiding her phone from her so she couldn't talk to "A", and a bunch of shit of that sort.
"A" told my roommate about this but told him not to tell me, obviously he did because (Bros before hoes). But now I am incredibly scared and anxious. "B" has told a couple of people about this and from what these people tell me, she's making me sound like an aggressive rapist. Quoting from something that "B" said "I was looking at her like a predator and she was my victim".
Today I just sent a quick message to "B" telling her that if I knew that she was getting uncomfortable I would had stopped, and that I am not that type of guy. She texted back saying that it's cool, she isn't mad, and that we're still friends. But this clearly isn't the case since she is still talking about it and making a scandal.
I am genuinely scared, scared of this thing blowing out of proportion, scared of getting kicked out of college, scared for my reputation. I am feeling my heart beating uncontrollably, I can't eat, I can't focus. From what my roommate told me, "B" has a reputation of possibly having mental issues or BPD from her past actions with other guys.
What the fuck can I do to protect myself or to avoid this thing from escalating? My roomate will talk to "A", his girlfriend, and tell her that "B" is blowing everything out of proportion because he believes me and knows I would never force a woman to do anything that she didn't want to. My only concern is that "A" will call out "B" on her lying, and this will make everything worse since she will try to stick to her story. I have no idea why she is doing this, could it be that she doesn't want to appear like a slut?
