Tonight's episode dealt largely with male suicide, the social pressures men face concerning emotion, and how important men can be to others as people; this made me wonder (probably again) what you thought of it!

This isn't the first time Glee has covered men's issues either, they covered male-victim statutory rape as well, complete with shaming, arguing the point but not on behalf of the victim (feminists), and actual caring from a fellow victim. They covered the expectations of masculinity from both heterosexual and closeted-homosexual aspects. They covered paternity fraud from an emotional perspective. Their lurking demon isn't patriarchy, nor even the football players for that matter, it's Sue Sylvester and the cheerleaders. They gender-swap the crap out of pretty much everything, and it's rarely done for laughs. I mean, sure, they tend to focus on LGBT issues, but it is glee club after all...
