I personally think those 4 guys were idiots, and the place a lot of controversy comes from. Edit: Controversy might not be the right word. Help?

Anecdotes and generic feminist rhetoric. It sucks what happened to her, but she goes on to project her experience on others by saying this kind of thing happens to all women everywhere, which is one of the many things wrong with this video.

She states she was walking with her head down. This is victim body language. I've survived some pretty rough times in pretty rough places, and those who walked around with their heads down and their shoulders forward didn't seem to be around for very long.

You really need to carry yourself confidently to reduce your risk of being targeted. That means head up, scanning surroundings, shoulders back with an upright posture and you walk at a brisk pace that suggests purpose and resolve.

If you can somehow project an air of "I don't want to kill you, but if you make me, I'll need to do it quickly because I've got other things to do" you can move through most situations without incident (I understand that physical stature is a consideration so for the record at the time I was 6 foot, 70- 75kgs (154 - 165 lbs) and rather effeminate (i.e gay) looking.
