This is a good article, and I don't think the fact that it speaks of the violent actions men do as even implying that women don't engage in vicious actions (though women tend to have different methods).

Anecdotal, but I talked to weev (via IRC chatrooms) years ago. He's quite possibly one of the biggest douchebags the internet has ever seen.

Like many, I've talked with Weev on IRC a number of times. He's a complete, utter, and exceptional asshole and he's proud of it.

To imply that his level of dickery is even close to any kind of common average is absurd. The guy is well known as one of the biggest, worst, cruellest internet trolls around. He's a real piece of work.
