Why is men's reduced lifespan still not addressed? Why is it not even seen as an issue?

This myth of women´s health being treated second-class or as a "joke" has been going around since feminists introduced it decades ago. It has been addressed numerous times, but, like other myths such as the wage gap, just keeps getting rehashed by parties with an ideological or financial interest. An Atlantic article from 1994:
