So I had sort of oneitis for my neighbor but she showed some signs of trust towards me and even mentioned we had chemistry together when we hang out. As a stupid beta I never made any moves until she moved out.

A few days later she calls me to ask about some information about the landlord amd I told her we should arrange a hangout without suggesting anything specific. She replied asking if I missed her amd I asked if she missed me to which she replied no and at the time I assumed she was joking, because they conversation was not in a serious tone.

I decided to ask her to come over a few days later to which she flaked. She was out for dinner with friends and she said if she finished early she would come over. She texts me a while later saying that she went home after all, even though she finished early.

So I decided to soft next, so its been over a week now with no contact and I am surprised really because even if there was never any sexual tension we got along really well and she even said it her self, and she used to look for me when ahe lived here.

I am torn, I just don't wanna bother anymore I think. She would look for me if ignoring her for a week+ right? She didn't even get curious. Since I decided to soft next, should I initiate again now that some days have past? It just seems too desperate to be the one initiating all the time, I thought she at least gave a fuck about me, or that's what it seemed at the time. We shared alot of time together I know her for years.

I guess hanging out with her was not as great for her as she said it wqs, and simply hanging out and connecting even at a non sexual way was not enough to make her care.

I know what you might say simply because I care = oneits so next, but since we have common friend I will be seeing her sometime soon I guess. I don't care if nothing happens, I just don't want to come of as butthurt when I do see her. This is the point of this post, and also figuring out why she just seemd to not give a fuck all of the sudden, even if the signs indicated that she at least respected me.
