Wait, what? First, that's the first time in 133 years. Your title makes it sound like there hasn't been a U.S. man in there for the last 133 years.

More importantly, your argument seems to be that men are kept out by Title IX, a program designed to keep people from being discriminated against based on sex in school. Please, show the connection between Title IX and a lot of American men losing tennis matches this year.

As a newbie to this forum, the biggest problem is people confusing their anger at not getting what they want with discrimination.

As the first commenter points out the title is garbage.

If, as the poster posits, Title IX created this situation - THEN THAT IS A GOOD THING - since the premise is that it raised the skill level of women to the point of ousting all the men.

I don't buy that argument and I think overall Title IX has been a disaster due to the way it has been administered; but women SHOULD have every opportunity available to them and that means some of the time they outshine men at open events. Deal with it. Or to put it another way, SACK UP, your team got beat, it happens.
